CYBERJAYA, Sept 26 — The National Water Services Commission (Span) yesterday confirmed the discharge of prohibited waste into the sewerage manholes around Sungai Gong, Rawang as one of the causes of river pollution.

SHAH ALAM, Sept 22 — Four board members and a manager of a heavy machinery repair company charged in connection with the dumping of hazardous materials into Sungai Gong, Rawang, were released on RM400,000 bail each with one surety by the High Court here today.

SHAH ALAM, Sept 9 — Seventeen people filed suits in the High Court yesterday against a factory suspected to have caused odour pollution of Sungai Gong in Rawang last Thursday that led to an unscheduled disruption to piped water supply in several areas of the Klang Valley.
